Summer Festival – 4th & 5th July 2022
This is a new event, based on the learnings of the highly rated “experience day”
The committee believe it will build on the associations record of delivering great networking and learning opportunities with the added benefit of physical “hands on” experience for machines and equipment.
Summer Festival Objectives
The day will focus on delivering informative and physical experience of lawn service industry machinery, networking opportunities with sponsors and operators and their staff in three distinct areas:
Indoor Sponsors Area
Meet and network with sponsors and members.
Outdoor Networking & Innovation Area
Sprayer Service: Bring your sprayer
Sprayer Calibration: Bring your sprayer, Get Calibrated
Member lawn care Innovations & Equipment
Outdoor Machinery Area
Look : Share Best Practice : Have a go
Bring your own equipment for other members to have a look at, have you adapted a piece of machinery to help you, have something unusual other members might like to see – bring it along !

1-Day Emergency First Aid at Work Course (EFAW)
Why First Aid at Work
Even if your workplace environment has been identified as low risk, you and your employees will benefit understanding the impact and how to apply Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), then this one-day course is perfect for you.
The training for the EFAW qualification equips you with basic life-saving first aid skills, as well as an understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
Our trainer will work with small groups up to 12 delegates to ensure each delegate will leave with an understanding of Emergency First Aid at Work
The EFAW training syllabus covers some important general first aid topics, including:
- What are the roles and responsibilities of the first aider?
- How should incidents be recorded and reported using a Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) form?
- What should a first aid kit contain?
- In a first aid emergency, how should you assess the situation and respond.
The training is being provided by Golbourn Training Solutions, they are a professionally accredited company who offer a range of Health and Safety qualifications, organisational security, compliance along with corporate team building and adventure programmes.
Costs
The event is subsidised to ensure it will be affordable for both multi van and single van operators. It will be a chance to understand more of the networking opportunities and value membership of the association offers, informative training for staff members that don’t normally attend conference and also meet our sponsors who understand the lawn care sector.
We also believe the day will be a great opportunity for non-members to get a taste of what the association offers.
